Primarily, India is an agriculture-based country, and rural development is one of the foremost essential factors for expanding the Indian economy. To support and extend our help for this country sector, the Humanity Welfare Council has initiated the Project Srishtipath.
HWC is a National level organization in India with the motto of witnessing a developed nation by 2030. Since agriculture comprises nearly one-fifth of the GDP in India, our central focus is on mitigating the issues faced by rural India.
Project Srishtipath, through its development programmes closely studies the factors behind the disadvantages and backwardness of the rural regions in India - either natural or anthropogenic. For example:
As agriculture is the main livelihood of most rural areas, the regular scarcity of water could slow down the course of growth and development of these regions. This might lead to severe livelihood crisis, escalating helplessness, migration, farmers suicide, child and bondage labour etc.
The Humanity Welfare Council has designed an action plan and research projects based on these findings. The naturally democratic programmes of HWC are a true reflection of people's genuine aspirations and needs. This helps an ordinary person quickly identify and participate in development projects that aim for our nation's social and economic welfare.
To fulfil the objectives of the development of rural India, HWC is aiming to open centres where the following services will be provided
Public cooperation for financial assistance is required for Project Srishtipath as HWC will be covering a vast area of development, and the people will be benefiting on a large scale. Growth in rural India will help develop the nation and reduce stress on the already overburdened metro cities.
